Hey there! I'm Lukas, a software engineer with a long lasting passion for programming. While I have a degree in physics, my heart and career have always been in software engineering.

I have over a decade of professional experience - and half of that time I spent as a
Lead / Principal backend developer.

Throughout my career, I've tackled vastly complex business requirements and high-load systems, always striving to create simple but scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions.

My expertise lies in managing software complexity, facilitating architecture supporting business requirements, and leveraging agile practices to organise work among the teams.

In my previous roles I've been a driving force in promoting a dev-ops culture. I believe that fostering a collaborative and efficient environment is crucial for achieving success in the software development world.

When I'm not working you can find me indulging in my love for movies or unwinding as a casual gamer. I used to be an amateur filmmaker, and though my focus has shifted, I still appreciate the art and creativity that goes into every frame.
